Michael Dell: Arizona Wranglers: The brand W is ingenious in a league with two horse logos. I also liked the unexpected 83 blue color scheme (the team had red unis for 84 season but never wore them (the team always wore white that year).
Chad Frye: The Stallions no doubt had the best logo. They were one of the most successful teams in the league.
Eric Koppisch: The Stallions no doubt had the best logo. They were one of the most successful teams in the league.
Kevin Turner: Washington Federals
Jack Marcasciano: Michigan Panthers
Anselm Miller: Michigan Panthers
Bailey Lee: Stallions
Tim Berg: Gamblers
Doug Brogowski: I loved the Michigan Panthers logo. The way the panther image engulfed the entire side ear area. I also loved Michigan’s uniform color scheme
Pierre DeSantis: Boston-New Orleans-Portland Breakers. Beautiful. Logo is still used by a Portland area H.S. (Lake Oswego?)
Sniper12Gauge says: “Oakland of course since I was the youngest paid person on the team I was 15 and was the asst.equipment manger. I am also on the 85 team poster”
Teddy Harrington says: “For me it was all ways a tie between the Breakers and the Gamblers. Really liked how the Breakers helmet looked and thought the way they incorporated Texas and Houston in the \”G\” for the Gamblers was cool. Will admit that I liked the Gunslingers logo…so awful that it is actually neat.”
Myles Holiday writes:”The blitz logo was the sweetest!”
Steve Bradley: Michigan Panthers baby!
Todd Simon: The Michigan Panthers Logo
Gary Richardson: The Gunslingers
Dean Masch: Oakland Invaders
Pete Jiminez: San Antonio Gunslingers
Larry Sutcliff: Chicago Blitz
Tom Hernanadez: Arizona Wranglers
AJ Randall: Houston Gamblers
Ray McGuire: The Boston/New Orleans/Portland Breakers
Bill Black: All of the USFL teams had GREAT logos, but hands down my favorite USFL logo – and favorite sports logo of all time – is the Oakland Invaders logo! Love the fist and the lightning bolt!
Bill Hrabak: I would have to vote for the Philadelphia/Baltimore Stars logo. All due respect to the other franchises, with three championship games and two championships, the Stars were the standard that the other USFL franchises had to live up to. I have used variations of their logo with several high school teams I’ve coached. I also liked the Bulls and Breakers logos a lot
Jesse Bennett: Oakland the lightning bolt in the hand is just awesome.
Brian Parrish: Houston Gamblers
David Ziegenfuss: Helmet logo was the Pittsburgh Maulers-very few people understand their nickname. The DeBartolo family that owned them owned shopping malls – hence the name, but with a twist. But my favorite logo was Memphis’ Showboat logo – not the paddle wheel, but the full boat!
Jason Wise: There are so many of them that I like. But my favorite logo was probably the Michigan Panthers.
Richie Franklin: I was a fan of the Philadelphia/Baltimore Stars, but the Arizona Wranglers did have the best logo. The best team name was the Chicago Blitz.
Percy Phillips: THE WASHINGTON FEDERALS HAD THE BEST LOGO ,BUT THE AZ. WRANGLERS HAD THE BEST COLORS OF ANY FRANCHISE IN ANY LEAGUE.
MG: no doubt bandits
The Michigan Panthers, the Jacksonville Bulls and the original Arizona Wranglers were perfect 10’s in my opinion.
I say the Jax Bulls, Houston Gamblers, New Jersey Generals, LA Express, Arizona Outlaws/Wranglers(both) had the best uniforms in the USFL
